The history of the emcee is clear in these early "disco" and battle tapes. The earliest tape here is of Grandmaster flash mixing with Melle Mel holding down the Master of Ceremonies. Mix in a little bit of Busy Bee being taking out by Kool Moe Dee and the Crash Crew's high Powered Rap.
